Thread, can someone direct me to a site featuring foreign stock indices?

Ah, Spectacular Bid, perhaps the last truly great American thoroughbred. The game certainly peaked with the Bid. While I'm reminiscing, I remember one race I saw full of absolute giants. The 1967 Woodward. Won by Damascus over the brutally fast Dr. Fager, the immortal Buckpasser and Allen Jerkens' Handsome Boy. In the presence of greatness that day. Damascus, Fager and Buck were all Horse of the Year in successive years (first Buck, then Fager, then D).

Wayne, sounds exciting except for riding in the back with the horses. No wonder so many people say "horsesh--" when you make comments. <VBG> Btw, who did your laundry?

You may not know it, but right now we are no longer getting the simulcast from Quackyduck or Belmont. It seems that the New York Racing group is trying to raise fees for its simulcast signal and Sam Houston is one of many smaller tracks to be fighting it. Though I like the NY tracks, that 2 minute to post shut down of betting makes me play them rarely. It is just too hard to play every other track a minute or so before post and then switch gears to remember that you have to be early for New York bets.

Besides, Jerry Bailey is at Gulfstream right now. <g>
