Don't know if they (Globalstar) support a direct data connection Globalstar supports data within the US and Canada, but not yet overseas I don't think. See the bottom of the page at the following link for data connection diagrams. globalstar.ca

TG, Thanks so much for you response and the links... It SURE does help.. As I understand it, Pocketmail is only good for e-mail and doesn't go further, like to the internet.. And you do need cell coverage.. to hook it up to. We will rent a cell phone there.. but I expect not always to be in cell coverage.. So I was hoping to bypass the cell system and go straight to the world internet..via satellite.. LOL.. We are leaving in a couple of days.. So like I always do... I wait until the last minute..gg. Thanks again..c
