This is the most ridiculous statement I have ever read.
Just look at Missouri where Ashcroft has held the following elected offices:

Attorney General
Governor
US Senator

Is Missouri known for being in the McCarthy era?

Of course Missouri un-elected him in this most recent election ... electing in his stead ... a dead man. May be the only time in our history a dead man has defeated an incumbent. Could be Missouri knows something the rest of us should.

OTOTOT - last post on this subject

Carolyn,

Let me refresh your memory: John Ashcroft no longer represents Missouri.

The great people of Missouri voted him out of office for a good reason. I wouldn't equate Ashcroft with Missouri as it's pretty risky to mix the good and the bad.

Re. Get your facts straight before posting such garbage

Now, your emotion shows. Not a very effective way to enhance your argument, I am afraid.

As to "facts", I offered more than you did.

Bye.
