Roger, I'm hoping we get a good discussion of shorting from Jerry one night--and people like Dreamin will come along and talk about it too. A few people say they have become proficient at shorting after he taught them.

And that's what I'm going to do, step in with just a toe first. I agree, do it on 50 or 100 shares, just to get familiar with it, even if you come out flat, who cares? Again its irrational but the idea of selling short scares me now why is that? I have no rationale for it...simply that its unfamiliar.

Just read Jerry's email and I agree w/ most of what he says. For example on taking your profits and trailing your stops up. On my 3rd NTAP trade (did 1 on Thur 2 on Friday) I had bot at doldrums for 57, and when I was noting it in da room after lunch, it was at 58 3/4. Jerry said just take it. I didn't take it, as I wanted 59--now is that nuts? An even # or something? <g> So I took it at 58 1/8 about 20 minutes later....its only through repeated experience that I learn.

Yes Teresa's site describes it all very well and wisely.
