i went to a retail coin dealer in toronto. i asked what he had in silver dollar eagles. he had nothing. i asked about kennedy half dollars. he had 11 of these, 10 were 67's and 1 64. he sold them to me for $ 1.75 canadian each, plus tax...exclusive of tax, this is about $ 1.20 US each. i grabbed all of them. the only silver eagle the coin stores seem to have around here is an expensive painted version of one, i forget if its year 2k or this years...

thanks for the replies, yours and ob's

ps i won't get rich buying retail <gg>
