ild, Well, the little stocks peaked in 1968 and swooned for several years. The nifty fifty held on until 1974, when everyone owned them. Then they went down 50-80%. The big stock averages, inflation adjusted, peaked in 1966 and got even again in 1982. But that handful of nifties outperformed for quite a while. I don't see it lasting nearly that long this time.
