Heh Marcos: Neumeyer just increased his position to 1.6 million on October 25, 2000. Rumour has it that he is going to be taking out entire Private placement of 2 -3 million shares at $0.10 to $0.12. This will give him control of 3.5 to 4.5 million shares. He also has 450,000 options exersizable at $0.10. I also assume that he will get another 2 - 3 million warrants for taking down the private placement that is going to be announced shortly. About Cook selling, I talked to Neumeyer about this and he was going to discuss this with Mr.Cook. I have been following the insider reports closely and notice that Mr.Cook has been selling shares in quite a few companies that he holds and insider position. Me thinks he needs the money. Anyways, I am very long VPR and very biased. I am basically betting that Neumeyer can duplicate his successes on First Quantum Minerals with VPR. I know he has made some people alot of money and I am sure their deep pockets are following his plays. He says that VPR is his focus and patience will be rewarded. I think the time is coming for VPR to really go on a tear. I will check out YMC.U. I don't know much about Turkey either except for the fact that political risk is huge. I have heard that in many cases, their contracts are not worth the paper they are written on. A contract supposedly means nothing to the Turks. Therefore, minerals claims that show promise may be worthless. Anyways, its all about the speculation and if they hit pay dirt, you may get a decent play. Good Luck. Rise
