It is odd, though, that no liberals questioned Lieberman about his religion.

May be I am a late comer. I am always confused the term liberal vs. conservative. How do I qualify to be a conservative? Or a liberal? Do you use any guideline? Or one that writes or speaks against another is a liberal or a conservative?
