Wilson has been long gone. It is the failure of the liberal influence and special liberal interests (which is in control even when Wilson was governor) that has led to the California utility crisis. . .

The architect of electricity deregulation is Steve Peace, a Democrat in the pocket of the utilities. He represents the district here in San Diego where my business is located. Regarding your buddy, Gray Davis, he is stumbling and bumbling his way thru this mess like no other. He even forgot to ask Energy Secretary Richardson to extend the order that forced power generators to sell into the California market. This ineptness would be laughable if it wasn't costing my business a fortune to pay for electricity. That delay in asking for the extension, nearly cost you your lights up there in Northern California last Wednesday. kirby
