We all live according to our own personal religious beliefs, much the same as Ashcroft probably does... Senator Lieberman is also very religious and he is also unable to separate religion from his political views... that didn't disqualify him for the job of Vice President... you're not being honest with yourself here.....

Separation of Church & State doesn't appear in the Constitution,

Keeping the state out of religion does: "Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, ...

Recognize the first sentence of the First Amendment? Maybe you wrong wing wacko's should try reading it.
