That would be an interesting road for the FED to go down, It would seem have political implications in terms
of which states and local Govt's were able to get relatively greater percentages of this type of funding which
could be problematic.

The effort would at least need some nice StatesMan type leadership.


Yes, John. And lacking statesmanship, or any kind of cooperative will in congress, the theme song for the next session will likely be 'ROLL OUT THE BARREL'. With every representative and senator wanting to take something home to prove their election was not a farce! It may prove to be a ragged path towards the same result; infrastructure investment.
