C'mon, we all know that the real reason we're going through this energy predicament is that any new power plants that have been proposed in CA within the last ten years have been effectively blocked by environmentalist groups. The price of saving this butterfly or that snail has just gone up dramatically. Watched on the news the other night the protesters outside the PG&E headquarters saying that they won't pay, and promoting the bankruptcy of PG&E since they can't manage their business effectively. What a bunch of uninformed dolts. They're probably the same ones that wanted to save the snail darter. kirby
