SLR, WCOM and ISSI all have good looking short term charts. Three good candidates to move above their respective 200 day MAs. and higher.

Robert, you might enjoy the StarMine web site as a tool for new plays. Good place to mine for stocks/sectors receiving earnings upgrades and likely candidates to beat estimates.

INVESTools Tech Advisory, January 16-19, 2001
By John Brobst, Contributing Editor

1. Techs, Internets Dominate Report on Picks for 2001 (SLR)

Every year, the venerable Dick Davis Digest asks leading
investment advisors for their #1 pick of the year. Part One
of this year's report was just released, and it includes 47
stocks and seven funds; Part Two is due out in two weeks.
High-tech and Internet firms dominate this year's results.
"While many of these ideas offer true home-run potential,
they also hold greater-than-average risk," says editor Nancy
Zambell. She says to diversify across several stocks and
sectors "to protect against strike-outs."

Zambell leads off the report with Alex Miselson, Director of
Investment Strategy for Paragon Capital Markets. His top pick
is Solectron (SLR), the provider of outsourced electronic
manufacturing services. Outsourcing allows companies to
concentrate on keeping up with the creative part of their
businesses. It also helps them avoid the rising cost of
frequent assembly line retooling and to get products to
market faster. "The more IBM, Hewlett-Packard, Cisco, Nortel
and dozens of others examine and ponder their own future, the
more appealing outsourcing appears to them," Miselson says.

Solectron's financials bear this out; for example, revenues
more than doubled year-over-year and earnings are rising
substantially. Solectron just inked a major deal with Sony.
"Solectron is far from being wildly popular with, or even
well known by, the stock buying public. That's your good
fortune," Miselson says. "Buy."
