Thanks X for the reco..

On the film.. We like good movies, although we are running behind on watching stuff.. Busy, busy bees.. Especially British and Australian where they seem to explore the human condition rather than an "event"

We just re rented the old "frontier mentallity" film, "The Man from Snowy River" because we hope to visit it in a few weeks.. But what scenes, of the "crack riders"
and the horses.. I so hope, there were no injuries to the animals.. There is nothing like, wild mustangs.. running free..

Hey, on the other side of the coin, "Muriel's Wedding" is one of our all time favorites..

I guess we like the underdog that eventually wins..

c

Another good British film, one bland enjoyed very much: "Close My Eyes". A great low-key performance by Alan Rickman, particularly the scene where he realizes the true nature of the relationship between his wife and her brother.

Rickman is one of bland's favorites.
