I just finished eating crow

Congrats Paul...............Sharpe's TD was such a momentum swing and the Raiders never really recovered. The Ravens D was awesome.

Well, at least I was for 1 of 2 for the day

Here's hoping to a good game in the Super Bowl. Am I assuming you're taking the Jints and the points. The Ravens opened as 2 1/2 point favorites

I'm going to analyze this Super Bowl like a normal football game, even though we know the 2 week break will destroy one of teams psychologically. The Giants offensive coordinator, Sean Peyton, is very bright. He will realize what the moronic Raiders staff did not (neither beofre the game nor at halftime) - that one cannot run up the middle on the Ravens. His running game will be misdirections, draws, and, primarily, swing passes. The Giants will score offensive TDs (meaning at least 2) - mark that down in stone. However, I can see the Ravens offense doing the same. I expect the point total to come in right at the Vegas number - 33. I'll take the Giants and the 3 points, and to actually win the game.

Tom

I read this in the Sunday paper:

<<< With Ray Lewis and the Ravens playing today for a berth in Super Bowl XXXV, Dominique Wilkins recalled an encounter with Lewis after last year's Super Bowl at the Cobalt Lounge in Buckhead, hours before two men were killed outside of the club.

"There was a big party for athletes, and I was there, Michael (Jordan), you know, the big-name crowd," he said. "Mike and I got Ray on the side and tried to talk to him about the guys hanging around him. Mike was really in his face, telling him he had to separate himself from that element.

"The thing is Ray always had this potential, and we wanted to see him reach it. But you know, he had to change his associations. Ray knew it, too. He told us he felt like he had to do something. >>>
