If my friend is a butthead now, maybe only the butthead part goes to heaven and the nice part goes to hell. It could be the other way around. Never know. My granny said, "Don't do anything for me when I'm dead." She knew that what mattered is what you do now. You should be congratulated on being consistent. It is nauseating to see people pine even though they didn't like the person when they were alive. I agree with you, I say the same things about my friends (dead and alive) and relatives (dead and alive) as I do when they are all alive. I want to have a funeral where all the shallow acquaintances that I'd known for one year of my life bemoan my death, speaking in hushed reverent tones about me. NOT. My friends better say some true stuff about me at my funeral or I'll haunt the lying bastards. I'd really hate to have my enemies kissing ass with my grieving wife and kids.
