I doubt IB will yield to any plea to keep the old system running. It probably becomes and issue of supporting multiple versions of s/w, and the cost of doing that, etc. However, there is no reason why IB cannot implement things in the new software that were better in the old version. There is NO good reason why they cannot have C M T buttons on individual lines like they used to have, and no reason to not implement the right click price and volume increments.

You can set up a hot key to transmit, then you just click on the order line that you want to send and hit the hot key with your other hand. It's just about as fast as the old system for me.
