Clinton was eager to prove his military prowess. Never stopped trying. No other President ever bagged an aspirin factory in a country that was totally stunned by US war planes attacking a civilian target. The world saw Clinton destroy the lives of innocents, not for the sake of ending a conflict, making stable a hot spot or bringing down a dictator, but to distract the public from his own personal problems.

<< Had Clinton pulled out the troops per the original plan, that was set up by GHWB, no soldiers would have been killed. There was a clear plan. >>

Yeh, sure. Bush ordered our troops into a war torn Somalia trap. Once the troops were committed, it was nearly impossible to have our troops flee Somalia.

I was, and am, a great believer in Clinton's decision for Kosovo. It was well thought out, winnable, and stablized an important part of the world.

Bush's decision to send troops to Somalia was a vain terrible decision, and many good Americans lost their lives because of it.
