I think DeMark is one of the 'fathers' of technical analysis and another favorite, I've already read that one and I agree its an excellent treatise. However, a small part of that is already part of my own strategy. I tweak and improve but basically I'm pretty satisfied with the simplicity and results of the strategies I already use. My focus is on techno-fundamental scans before the market opens and filtering out all the 'forest' of stocks that come out of scans to a workable 4 or 5.

SNDK is one of my favorites yes marketgems.com I didn't post it on Friday simply because its looking like it might consolidate some of its gains accrued in the last week or so. Its looking short term overbought and it hasn'ts successfully broken resistance of the 20 day moving average. Even if SNDK had a 20 day moving average breakout there is a problem with the dominant trend being down and the pullback to a falling 20 day moving average might become a short set up. Earnings are coming out January 24 and the expectations is for 0.37 from the $0.15 same quarter last year which works out to a gain of 146.67%. Earnings estimates were just revised upwards in the last 7 sessions to $0.37 from $0.36. After a pullback and yet before the report, there is a good window where SNDK can see more gains. Obviously after the report the window can open even wider.
