The rational of the early 70's was that a little bit of inflation is actually good........
Of course one needs ask, Compared to what?
Rising unemployment, loan defaults and declining output.
What goes around comes around.
So much for the pair of dime of the new economy
A new economy dependant on capital (as compared to earnings).........too bad the flow of capital stopped.
