I think many of us were pruned in last years bloodbath...except for those smart enough to go on long vacations like Pat and Frank. I only had a handful of manageable losses in some common stock purchases during the slaughter as I tried to catch those falling knives...but the thing that stung me the worst was buying mountains of calls on NBCI and looking for a bounce that never came...and I bought more calls as the price fell lower...eventually most expired worthless and the rest I sold at 1/8th for the tax loss. Stops would have saved me 10's of thousands. Live and learn....right Mark. Cheers!
