I can't admire adultery even by MLK. But he had some other accomplishments I can admire. I am not sure MLK celebrated his adultery publicly, either. Which I perceive as a difference.

Not every adulterer has the same accomplishments. I wish they did. It might even make me change my mind about adultery in general.

Can you be a former adulterer? Won't you always be someone who has committed adultery? Or did you find a way to change the past? Wouldn't it be more appropriate to say "someone no longer committing adultery"?

I mean, if we are being really rational and reasonable, and all.

I am sorry you are a fool and a low life. Either you have a very low opinion of yourself, or you are a poor creature.

I think the confusion comes from the ability to vocalize these points of view about people's frailties. Will X say MLK had nothing to offer because of this? I doubt it. Will she say that by doing so MLK was less than he would have been without doing it? I think it is fair to answer that yes.

The way I look at it is our worth comes from our net balance we have at the end of the trail. People are always going to disagree because there is no GAAP for personal conduct.
