Going up or down, don't fight Balmer and Greenspan.
that is the lesson people should learn. In 99, Balmer
said the stock was a bit overvalued and he was correct.
Greenspan was in a tightening bias that lead to market
dives a few months later.

Now, few months ago, Balmer implied MSFT was fairly
valued when it was at 72 then. Greenspan has switched
to monetary easing policy. If we don't move with these guys
and don't remain bullish with these two trends, we may look
back and say we learned the lesson again!!

MSFT may be getting ready for stock to get back to 120+
and do an overdue stock split.

The company I work at (no, it's not MS) will be upgrading this spring. We currently use Win 98 for the desktop, NT for the servers.

We'll be upgrading to Win 2000 across the board (servers and desktop). We upgraded to Office 2000 late last year.

Don't get too excited, we're a small business (around 300 desktop PCs). But, this is an example of the progress of Win 2000 and Office 2000.

One comment for you bears out there I suppose. My IT people tell me that moving to Win 2000 will "be a big change". By this, they mean that it's not simple. There will be some work involved with the transition. Apparently MSFT has "moved things around quite a bit". Whatever the complications with the upgrade are, they believe it's worth it. FWIW
