In this case...I agree with you and have an extra K to add to your bet....

I use IB with WOW for data feed. I usually play 600 to 1k shares and most are priced under $30.00

None of my plays are stocks trading over 2 million shares a day. I usually can get out after 1/8 but only because they tend to move slower.

A few months ago a friend and I played JDSU and were near beaten to death...couldn't get out to save a life.

I think if I were trying to beat my worst enemy I would want to understand that trying to play the stocks that the "other guys" play is not helping win the battle.

BTW....I have noticed that many times when the bid or ask shows only a few hundred shares available, I can get in or out of 1k. It takes about 15 seconds for the added trades to hit but you can take that risk if you want to trade larger numbers of shares. I could and would not try this with certain trading platforms since they may be set up where you have to re-enter for the balance of shares and also pay another commish. Best to know the broker rules before trying this one.
