Boy, steve, that Forbes.com article really rang a bell. Unisys announces an "end to end" solution with Dell and Microsoft, except it doesn't have a product, and it doesn't have the partnerships. Where I have this kind of PR before? Oh, right -- everywhere. FYI, Digital Persona has announced it has an end user for its simultaneously launched online fingerprint verification service. One hitch I noticed, though: The end user doesn't seem to have a product yet. The net result of these phony announcements is that any real announcements tend to get lost in the static.
