The guy that generates "handle envy" from me is the

Duke of URL.

You quack me up.

P.S. I loved reading the old Giants stuff you linked to.
I never realized that there was a football team called the Brooklyn Dodgers as well. They were listed on the schedule. And where the heck is Portsmouth?
I remember seeing something about The Greatest Games Ever Played on ESPN last year or the year before.
Classic ESPN actually ran the footage to that game. It was very grainy and B&W. If I remember correctly, Frank Gifford was blamed for losing that game. (Many Giants fans could not forgive him.) I remember cheering for the Giants while watching that old footage because I still had no idea of the outcome. I was yelling at the T.V. as loud as I do when I watch the Y2K Giants.
A sports-talk host in our area claims that if Frank Gifford was playing in this era he would be so good that he would make the Pro Bowl on a regular basis.

John Madden always mentions Bronco Nagurski. I didn't really know who he was but could tell by the name that he was tough.

While I'm on the subject of "Bears", what do you make of this:

zealllc.com

It's rather long and boring. Sorry about that.
Valid points, though?
