Very interesting explanation MarginMike.
I would believe that IJ would have a policy to only allow sales if relevant information is already
out in the open. Certainly some firms don't have this policy, CA comes to mind, and it comes back
to haunt them.

You are probably right too that the houses were actively engaged in actions to move
the stock. I don't really see how they benefit from getting a good price but maybe they
do (in getting future sells??)
