I haven't read it. I tried Satanic Verses and couldn't cope. Over Christmas, I read three novels by Penelope Fitzgerald that I loved. The one I loved the least was the one that won the Booker Prize. I'd never read her before, and she's wonderful. Also I re-read an Ivy Compton-Burnett, "A House and Its Head." I adore I C-B. When I'm traveling, I read a lot. At home, I seem not to, recently. How do you find the time to do all you do in a day and read, too? I don't understand it.
