Obviously William doesn't know anything about Buffet. Buffet doesn't invest in tech because he says, as did Peter Lynch, "I don't understand technology companies."

Questron Technology Partners With i2 to Enhance Supply Chain Management Capabilities
BUSINESS WIRE - January 16, 2001 10:00
BOCA RATON, Fla., Jan 16, 2001 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- Questron Technology, Inc. (Nasdaq:QUST) (Nasdaq:QUSTW), a leading provider of supply chain management solutions and inventory logistics management programs focused on the needs of Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs), announced today that it has signed an agreement with i2 Technologies, Inc., to license i2 TradeMatrix Solutions(TM) designed to enhance the supply chain management solutions offered by Questron to its customers.

Under the agreement, Questron will implement i2 TradeMatrix(TM) Demand Planner and Supply Chain Planner software. Questron believes that these software tools will create the opportunity to increase revenues and gross margins, while reducing inventory, costs associated with carrying inventory, and overall operating costs.

i2 Demand Planner helps companies better analyze and more accurately forecast demand from customers. Questron expects Demand Planner to help it react quickly to changing production schedules and related demand requirements from its customers. In addition, Questron expects it to improve its long-range business planning capabilities and the visibility of product demand through the use of Demand Planner, allowing it to reduce inventory levels required to support customer business and leverage its personnel in the planning process.

i2 Supply Chain Planner is designed to help companies synchronize supply with demand. Questron will look to Supply Chain Planner for greater visibility of its entire supply chain, enabling it to plan inventory strategies that balance customer service requirements while optimizing fiscal performance. Additionally, Questron will seek more efficient management of costs associated with planning and a reduction in purchasing cycle time through the use of Supply Chain Planner.

"The implementation of these i2 software tools will benefit both Questron and its customers, as these tools are another integral step in completing the supply chain puzzle. Our ability to be more responsive to customer needs, ensuring that supply will meet production schedules, improves the level of service we provide to our customers, while at the same time allowing Questron to better manage its inventory levels," said Dominic A. Polimeni, chairman and chief executive officer of Questron. "i2 provides us with the ability to optimize our supply chain management capabilities for profitability and customer service. We look forward to partnering with i2 on future projects," Polimeni added.
