We have laptops
two of them
they belong to Mr X who does not share them
but since he paid for them
I can't really complain
and I would be on this thing too much if I had it with me- I might read less! <shudder>
It might even become REAL
which would be terrible

I don't think you need to worry about me causing you pain- unless you plan on morphing into a special kind of conservative

I have to go to aerobics now
Mens sana Corpore sano

or if you prefer

Orandum est ut sit mens sana in corpore sano

Laptops are highly addictive.

Bland has three.

And was actually considering picking up a new one earlier this evening.

He was forced to physically eject himself from the store.

I agree with your suggestion of a laptop. For people that really need their computers, though, laptops should have a big warning label on them. You drop them and you're hosed. The way I've handled this is to get a USB CD writer and habitually put all my important stuff in a SINGLE rooted folder (XXXXXXX's). That way all the subfiles and trees get copied with a single drag and drop.
