Finnish telecom equipment maker Nokia said on Tuesday it would supply its broadband technology for Digital Subscriber Line (DSL) services to U.S. Tess Communications for an undisclosed sum.

Nokia said it would deliver its systems to Tess "for an agressive DSL roll-out in Arizona and Colorado."

"The Nokia solution enables a full range of residential and business broadband services...," it said in a statement.

DSL enables higher bandwidth over copper lines to provide services such as data, voice, streaming media, secure remote work and fast Internet access, Nokia said. <<
