There are so many different numbers, but I think most of the QCOM types seem to still own lots of stock. Also, most get many options, which is a whole different world. They should sell some and move some money into something else, I know I would. Why have 99 plus per cent of your net worth in one stock and why not spend some money. Check this link

Back in 1995 or so, we looked at the insider selling, it all seemed to be at one of the highs in stock prices. Lots of insider selling around $70 but that was many splits ago. It may be hard for them to figure out the stock price action, does not seem to follow common sense, but I felt the same way in 1994 or so. I do not pay much attention to insider selling, buying may be something else.
