DAWK -- Hi Ev, yup another blast from the past that gpg talked about last year. It had a terrific run after that. I sold a little after it topped out, but still made great money--more than triple. I bot DAWK again under 50 cents a few weeks ago--thought it was just too cheap, but didn't post on it since there was no news--just a gut reaction. Tonight's news looks great though. They have had several new contracts of the last few months. --Coz

B: Daw Technologies, Inc. Awarded $19 Million in New Business, Including
Cleanroom Project in Utah Worldwide Provider of Cleanroom and Critical
Environment Solutions Reports $40 Million Backlog

SALT LAKE CITY, Jan 15, 2001 /PRNewswire via COMTEX/ -- Daw Technologies, Inc.
(Nasdaq: DAWK) announced today that it has been awarded domestic and overseas
contracts totaling approximately $19 million in new business for 2001.

Included as part of the $19 million is a contract to furnish and install the
Cleanroom System for one of the world's largest providers of semiconductor
memory products and represents one of the largest contracts received in the
Company's history. Installation of the Cleanroom facility, located in Utah, is
scheduled to begin during the first quarter of 2001, with completion expected by
year-end. The scope of work will draw upon the Company's integrated capabilities
in design and engineering as well as project and construction management of
Cleanroom systems.

"We are extremely pleased with the award of this contract which further
strengthens Daw's established position as a premier Cleanroom system provider to
the North American market," said Brent Lundevall, president of the North
American Cleanroom business unit of Daw Technologies, Inc.

Additionally, the company announced the award of new contracts from its European
Cleanroom business unit for work to be performed during the first and second
quarters of 2001. Pursuant to recently received purchase orders, Daw will
provide integrated Cleanroom solutions for customers in the semiconductor as
well as research and pharmaceutical industries in Italy, Denmark, Israel and the
United Kingdom.

According to Gary R. Matthews, managing director of Daw Technologies (Europe)
Limited, the company continues to see increasing demand for its products and
services in all sectors of the Cleanroom business. "Our customers are continuing
to invest not only in upgrading existing facilities but also in new plants and
technology," said Matthews. He indicated that Daw's ability to provide its
customers with a flexible, locally delivered solution remains key to its growth
in the European market.

The final portion of the new contracts announced is from the company's
Intelligent Enclosures business unit, which specializes in mini-environments and
tool enclosure technology.

"These new contracts demonstrate not only a continuing recovery in the high tech
arena but also the effectiveness of the company's business development efforts,
" said Ronald W. Daw, president and chief executive officer. "With an excellent
track record in delivering integrated Cleanroom solutions and having developed a
more diversified customer base, Daw is well positioned to capitalize on the
expansion of equipment and facilities for the semiconductor and pharmaceutical
industries. The new contracts from the Intelligent Enclosures business unit
demonstrate the continued progress toward our goal of positioning ourselves as a
leading supplier of mini-environments and tool enclosure technology."

Daw indicated that with the addition of these new contracts, the Company nearly
doubles its current backlog to approximately $40 million in business. "Based on
larger bids and shorter lead times, we continue to be encouraged by the trend
that is developing," said Daw.
