mark, right - I never open spam. I get many free newsletters I have requested at my main address, maybe 10 a day. But only maybe 2 spams a week. So most newsletters providers must keep e-mail addresses to themselves. Of course if the newsletter provider asks if it's ok to share my address, I say no. Actually I get more snail mail spam and often I can tell which biz passed on my name because there are a million unique ways to misspell it.
