I read where they had one nasty ice storm down there this winter. Three weeks with no power would be a real pain.

One year we had bad blizzard and a snowmobiler took out a transformer to a development 6 miles out of town. With the blowing snow it was several days until the problem could be fixed. These people were on wells so they had to melt snow for water. No way to get to town or to a motel. The next spring For Sale signs were popping up in all the yards.
