Well no- you would have to come back as someone else

I wasn't arguing with you (even if it appeared that way)- my perception of this place is different from yours- so my opinion would be different

Your perception does not line up with my reality- and perhaps vice versa

Karen,

I am male and have been stalked by a former girlfriend. She bought a computer to find me and had no other interest or goal other than to find me. Systematically, she went through all the email addresses she could find and contacted me at my work email through usenet posts I had made and that had been cataloged by a web page interface.

We last saw each other when I was 18 and it wasn't like I really wanted to hear from her. At first I was flattered and then, I was creeped out when I found that she was married to someone who was also in the Navy. She lived about 60 miles from the Navy base where she knew I was last stationed.

This led me to be much more cautious about showing people who I am. A previous company located posts made by someone close to me and interrogated me about it with the CFO and CEO present. It is a lot easier when people don't know who you are. I don't think I use this anonymity irresponsibly and I value it.
