Very Close !

I installed the Motherboard (i815EEAL) and bolted in the Hard Drive, floppy drive and CD-RW, and then had my son connect up all the cabling - EIDE (2), floppy, Power Connectors, Fans, and CD Audio. I clamped the heat sink on the CPU but my son socketed the CPU.

The great thing about the AntecSX1030 case is that it is so wide open that cable connections are fairly simple.

To our pleasant surprise, immediately upon power-on, the Intel Logo popped up on the screen - for a Perfect Boot - not one problem !

This was great educational experience for my son (12 years old) and took a lot of the mystery out of computer hardware for him.

I installed Windows 2000 Professional and this PC has been running like a CHAMP without a hitch - 45 straight days now.
