<< Did any men get killed on the mission Bush authorized ? No. >>

Playing with words does little to those who lost loved ones over in Somalia. Bush sent our troops to a war torn, uncivilized powder keg, and then left office, leaving the responsibility in someone else's hands. This was an irresponsible and reckless act, IMHO.

Bush could have waited another month and let the new administration deal with Somalia. Bush choose to send our troops into a very dangerous place, and then he left office. When one lights a fire, and then leaves, one shouldn't be surprised if something burns down.

Why did Bush send our troops to Somalia, right before he left office? It was right after the American people voted him out of office. The Republican Party, historically, has been opposed to using our troops for peace keeping missions, only to fight wars. Why did Poppa Bush send our sons and daughters over to a killing field, after losing an election?

One can only guess.
