No doubt. I'm sure he has taken the passage in Scripture to heart that says "believes all things, hopes all things.." <VBG!>

Tough position for Cisco to be in right now though. On an aging main street (routers), share price under tremendous pressure (and very dependent on a high share price for acquisitions which fuel their growth) and not the leader in any tornado(ing) market.

I think we should wait for csco's report card on 2/6 before making any judgements.

To have a clear understanding of a downturn's impact on Cisco, I think we should wait atleast a year.

A separate point I forgot to make in response to mtnlady is that though Cisco's stock will be affected by a downturn, the stocks of the companies it buys will also be lower.
