The strategy Iridium is using was GSTRF's all along. However IRIDIUM doesnt work very well, and is less effient and provides much slower speeds then GSTRF. In any case I think its a moot point cause none of them are worth wasting energy on.

From what I understand of the two technologies you'd be better waiting and buying G* when IT comes out... much superior product.
