I think its too late, ODB. Some how they'll have to be salvaged (at least their operations need to be). No doubt the share/bag-holders will get a fierce oosiking, but its unclear what that will mean going forward. A lot depends on the ability and integrity of the Cali governor and lawmakers. At this point, shorting EIX is like shorting Gray Davis. Hmmm, maybe not such a bad idea after all!

In all honesty, it's a high risk, high reward kind of play. Might be better to nail some of the electrical producers who will also be bagholders when EIX/PCG go BK (CPN, REI). Just MHO.
