KeepItSimple,

You are not keeping it simple. Intel practiced FD before than was an FD.

I'm not cheerleading, I'm being realistic. If you think Intel is going to violate FD and announce it in an earning release, you are an idiot.

John

But that absence of reitteration will be the secret code word for "look out, we have bad news but we cant legally say anything,

Keep,

Did Intel say anything about winking? :)

IF there is a MATERIAL change, it must be disclosed to everyone. What is of import is that Leavitt, who fought the Banks tooth and nail to get FD implemented has now resigned.

We already know that Scrub has substantial experience with insider trading. (the sec allowed him to skate on a big one)

If he appoints some limpdork who backs off reg FD enforcement because of his well connected buddies,

WELL, THEN YOU MAY START TO REALLY WORRY.

I am sorry, I got your point now.
All you are saying is that:
-Intel has publicly announced that they will violate SEC rules by selectively disclosing information
-Everyone will read this and understand that by about tomorrow (may be with your help earlier, some idiots like I miss it on the first glance)
-they will not of course like this kind of behavior
-they will all start selling INTC stock to 0 because after all INTC has declared intention to do something illegal and we can't support a company doing illegal things can we?
-your puts/short will be hugely in the money, finally
-the smart KIS that you are, you will make a ton of money and finally not have to read between the lines to extract such brilliant interpretations that have made you rich

Is that close?
Looks like those careful reading habits and common sense is paying off after all. Good luck :-)

Keep,<<<"look out, we have bad news but we cant legally say anything, so just consider my decision not to reitterate anything to be a warning">>>

Intel economists know there is a 1929 type depression starting Q1 '01 and we will all be selling apples with a small "a".

Nothing is going to save us. Interest rates and tax rates will be reduced to zero.

Cap Ex is rising in preparation for life after Armageddan.

Intel expects to come in below estimates without any expectations to see better days going forward.

However, Ashok Kumar thinks Intel has a terrific future, but will wait until the stock price falls below zero and then may become an agressive buyer.

Joe Osha does not think that investments in P4 production is wise. Joe knows better about what Intel should be investing in.

On top of all this Intel expects to be prosecuted for planning to violate FD laws.

More bad news is expected to follow.

Is this good news, or what?

Mary
