Good point, but I think a complete bailout will be seen as also helping the stock owning class, which I'm not sure is the most popular demographic group in California...sure a lot of retirees own utility stocks but I would guess less than 50% of the state population (maybe less than 25% if you count the illegals -g-) there own any stocks at all (I think the figure for the US is 45% of all households own stocks, I could be wrong on that though) Davis will have to walk a fine line to make it appear he is not helping the "rich" stuckholders and debt holders...you know how democrats love to wage war against those that pay most of their salaries, so the misled moochers will vote for them.
