LR should have been posted here, if someone were serious about merger arbitrage. It started as a spinout, and was presented on SI boards. The buyout by Ricoh in late November made business sense. Price was $3, but the market took it from 2 3/4 down to 2 1/2 during the days after the announcement. Millions of shares traded at 2 1/2. Cash tender closed today. Gain on transaction = 20%, which is 120% annualized.

That's the kind of deal I look for.
