Well lets start using this thread. Just by reviewing the NVLS report today its likely that NVLS will over the next few years be on equal footing with AMAT. I believe that they are growing the top line faster than AMAT (percentage wise). If they keep on the acquisition trail they will be be a true competitor to AMAT.

Dollar for Dollar NVLS is the best covered call write of the semi group. I'll be getting called out of some Jan 35's, but my plan is to buy back in on Monday and write another cc a strike higher. On Monday if NVLS opens at 42 I will write the Feb 45's. Because there is so much uncertainty about the outlook for the next quarter I would expect a pullback after such a good run up.

Richard Palm,
Thank you. I have been position trading KLAC based on TA and some basic fundamental knowledge. It has been a good trading stock, but I think it's at the point that I need to learn more about the business. Sold at $43 this morning because of earnings report tonight.

Tempted to buy back because I think it will be good with INTC working on their Fabs, and Micro Devices building a new fab. Appears the drive to use 300 mm waffers is under way and I think KLAC technology will be in demand. Are my general thoughts correct or way off base?
