you may have better luck if some others on the thread chip in. I happen to like the kinds of stocks that turn up under the methodology of _Buffettology_ ,but am not particularly good at evaluating more value oriented stocks. I've come to accept that pure value investing just isn't what I'm going to be very good at. I don't like those kinds of companies when I look at them, and hence don't have much confidence if I buy them. I'm a weak hand at value stocks because of that fundamental outlook.

My main strategy wrt Buffettology will be to wait for a good stock to come to me. Ralston Purina is probably the only "real" Buffet-like stock I bought last year, although some of the stocks I purchase are analyzed in a similar vein.
