A lesbian molesting a 16 year girl would be in trouble with this law too. Well, sure-that's also homosexual. The discrimination part of the law is that it doesn't protect all 16's from sexual solicitation by either sex. Why was the law directed toward homosexual sex only? What's the difference between the male detective molesting a 16 year old male or a 16 year old female. This law says it's ok to molest the female. The prosecutors were wise to lay off that case. I would hope they address the problem so that it is made more inclusive. I agree with you that they should protect all 16s.
