>> WRONG, CRAIG !! (((( loud buzzzer )))) <<

Heh, ok.

>> Buffet does not invest in tech because the learning curve he would have to undertake, at his age, is not worth it. And he is right. <<

You're talking as if Buffett is an idiot. He is too old? Come on, was he too old to invest in tech 10-15 years ago? He choose not to then, and he was much younger.

>> When he can buy 60% of a grossly undervalued normal co outright, why bother to learn constantly-changing tech concepts so you can try to buy 20% of a grossly over-valued tech co? <<

So essentially we are in agreement on this point. Tech companies have been overvalued because they don't have much in the way of earnings, so he chooses to stay away. Just like I said.

>> Rest assured, Buffet and Munger are very shrewd. They know exactly what they are doing. <<

On the one hand you say they are very shrewd, then you say they are either too stupid or too old and lazy to get up to speed on tech. This is where you are WRONG. Buffet is smart enough to figure out tech, in fact is he is so smart that he knows they don't have much in the way of earnings to support their prices. So he chooses to stay away.

>> ps, looks like value won again today, eh? <<

I dunno did it? I know there were several thousand stocks that were up today, and I'm sure some of them are "value" stocks and some aren't.
