sure I was pulling your leg! But AMAT was never mentioned in NVLS's call so the quote was just an analyst putting his own spin on the story. Seriously, was there a period of time NVLS lost significant market share to AMAT? During the last couple of years, AMAT stock outperformed NVLS except very recently finance.yahoo.com but I thought this was mostly related to a secondary offering NVLS did and which pressured the stock. Over the last 5 years, both stocks have moved hand in hand suggesting that one is (not yet) eating the other's lunch... finance.yahoo.com Trilobyte
