Let's not forget that Intel is not the only supplier of MS Window based PC CPU's.

True, you don't want to read more into Intel's dismal forecast than is warranted. But it has been a pattern lately that every time a PC-related company, be it MSFT, AAPL, INTC, or whoever, announces that their sales have been and will be sluggish due to a slow economy and even slower PC market, analysts start yapping about how it's just a company-specific problem. It's not. The current macroeconomic downturn, in addition to the fallout from the huge buying binge and credit bubble that accompanied Y2K, is to blame. Not some one company's poor execution.
